In September, the Steiner teams can remove the scaffolding as the railings are installed and the waterproofing resin is applied to the passageways.
The exterior brick facades continue to be laid from the bottom to the top, at the same time as the exterior fittings progress gradually with the pouring of sandblasted concrete and the laying of gutters along the building.
Inside the building, it is now the tilers’ turn to work in the bathrooms as well as the toilets, kitchen, laundry and cleaning rooms.
The carpenters are installing the cupboards and kitchens, while the installation of the wood fibre ceilings is being completed in the classrooms. This will allow the technical staff (ventilation, electricians) to continue their work in these rooms where all the technical equipment is visible and therefore under the finished ceiling.
